How to find Ballybeag Cottages
Ventry (in Irish “Ceann Trá”) is about four miles west of Dingle (in Irish “An Daingean”) and Ballybeag Cottages are just beyond Ventry. Follow the signs in Dingle for “Slea Head Drive” and “Ceann Trá” driving on the R559 through Ventry. You’ll find us about one mile from Ventry village and strand. At the far side of Ventry take a right turn following signs for “Ballybeag” or “Baile Beag”.
To get from the main urban areas to the Dingle Peninsula (in Irish "Corca Dhuibhne") drive as follows:
From BELFAST or other parts of Northern Ireland head for either ATHLONE or PORTLAOISE and follow signs for LIMERICK. From LIMERICK follow the N20 then N21 to Castleisland and TRALEE and from there take the N86 to DINGLE.
From CORK follow the N22 through Macroom and on to KILLARNEY. Leaving KILLARNEY, head towards Killorglin on the N72 but branch off on the R563 through Milltown to Castlemaine. In Castlemaine turn left and follow the R561 through Inch and on to Annascaul. At Annascaul join the N86 to DINGLE.
Leaving DUBLIN head for PORTLAOISE on the N7(M7) and then on to LIMERICK. From LIMERICK follow the N20 then N21 to Castleisland and TRALEE and from there take the N86 to DINGLE.
From SHANNON Airport head for LIMERICK and follow guidelines above.
